Soo Won Galbi is a Korean & Japanese Restaurant specializing in
Korean Table Top BBQ. Established in June
1999, Soo Won Galbi became the First Korean Restaurant to open in Centreville, Virginia. It is now a well-known family restaurant not only in Centreville, but also Fairfax, Chantilly and the whole Northern Virginia Area (NOVA) as the restaurant with the best "Galbi".
“SooWon”, the well-known province in Korea is the birth place of “Galbi”
(tenderized & marinated beef short ribs, also our house specialty). Thus the name of our restaurant was derived
from. Even to this day, Soo Won is sought after
its quality “Galbi”.

"Soowon Galbi, a pleasant upscale Korean place with a killer version of
its namesake dish. We ordered the "Soowon's Supreme Jumbo Galbi," which
is described as "specially treated high grade jumbo beef ribs seasoned
in our chef's special sauce." They weren't kidding. Since we had a
grill table, we got to see the unspeakably marbled short rib slabs
before they'd been cooked into juicy rectangles. This was, hands down,
the most highly marbled short rib I've ever seen."

"Until I ate at Soo Won, I wasn't a big fan of Korean BBQ. I reaaaallly
love their jumbo galbi marinade! It's delicious! We also like their
bulgogi. I'm also a big fan of their side dishes! bean sprouts,
steamed egg, kim chi, and fried tofu are my favorites! Our favorite
server there told us about cooking the garlic in sesame oil over the
grill and now we're addicted to it! It goes so well with the galbi,
rice and lettuce!"
